Membership is open to all individuals, companies and organisations. The principal benefits of membership lie in the opportunities for technical and business networking, access to information, and the ability to participate and contribute in the production of new information through Committee work. All members, irrespective of membership grade, receive

  • The right to vote and to stand for election to Council and Committees
  • Reduced registration fees for technical seminars and conferences
  • Reduced prices for technical publications
  • Several categories of membership are provided

Company Membership:
This category provides significant promotional and financial benefits for organisations. Levels of platinum, gold, silver and bronze are tailored to meet the needs of different organisations and their ability to support the Institute.

Individual Member:
This grade of membership has been established at a cost well within the reach of sole practitioners and individuals in the industry. Individual Members’ rights are protected in the Institute’s Articles of Association whereby they always constitute the majority of elected members on the Federal Council and State Branch Committees.

Student Member:
Established to suit low budget needs for students while providing an opportunity to attend seminars and conferences, meet with industry leaders, and to widen their learning.
